MENTAL HEALTH SUPPORT FOR LOCAL SEARS WORKERS

While many people are looking at the sudden announcement about Sears closing and thinking of the financial implications, the Canadian Mental Health Association of Hastings-Prince Edward is thinking of how it'll impact local workers. Mainly, the well-being of staff after being delivered the devastating news that stores will begin closing soon. Executive Director Sandi Sidsworth says that's why, starting on Nov. 4, they're hosting a drop-in program for Sears employees who may be going through a mental rollercoaster of emotions.

The coffee, conversation, and care meetings will continue every Saturday until Dec. 16 from 10 a.m. to noon. All those affected are welcome to attend.
