LUNCH AND LEARN TO SHOWCASE SUSTAINABLE LIVING
2/7/2018 8:32:25 AM

Headwaters Community Farm and Education Centres in Cobourg has re-scheduled their launch and learn event until Feb. 28, due to the weather. Owners Linda and Tony Armstrong are inviting representatives from organizations to find out more about corporate and wellness day retreats offered at the farm. The preview includes food samples, a tour of their activity and meeting facilities, a presentation about what the centre has to offer and a choice of three sample workshops.

The Armstrong's are former city folk who bought thier farm in the fall of 2012 to live a more peaceful and self-sustainable existence. They came together through Cottage Life Television and have had a yearning for fresh air and living with nature ever since. Their farm is set in the rolling hills of Northumberland County on a 120 acre farm with a beautiful view of Lake Ontario. They live in an eco-friendly, sustainable, straw-bale home that we designed and built for our family and our business. They're located 10 minutes north of Highway 401 between Port Hope and Cobourg at 3517 Rowe Rd, Cobourg. To reserve your complimentary spot, email info@headwatersfarm.ca.
