A Belleville restaurant owner is set to climb his second mountain next month. Voice of Victory motivational speaker and Earl and Angelos owner John Cairns announced last night online that he'll be leaving for Kathmandu, Nepal April 26 - to climb base camp Mt. Everest. The double amputee lost his right arm and leg, after being hit by a 68-ton railway car in 1992. Cairns successfully climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro in August 2016. Locally, he's the founder of the Wheelchair of Hope Foundation - Providing free wheelchairs and mobility devices to people around the world since 2014. This year's gala has been cancelled due to the climb - A Go Fund Me page has been set-up instead, to help raise funds and awareness for the cause:
