Next week United Way Northumberland was hoping to host its annual Campaign Achievement Breakfast. COVID-19 has forced the agency to change its plans.
Although we are at home physically distancing, the agency says it wants to take the time to recognize the incredible support it has received from the community.
To make it happen, the United Way will host a virtual breakfast, at 7:30 a.m., on Wednesday, April 8th. All you have t0 do is put on the coffee and whip up a breakfast of your choice. At exactly 7:30am, Northumberland United Way will send an email from the agency to share its campaign achievements and recognize the generous donors, volunteers, and supporters who continue to show their local love.
“Although, this may be an uncertain time, we continue to be amazed at how our community supports one another” says Bobbie Dawson, Executive Director. Dawson says for more than 50 years, the United Way has come together annually to acknowledge the generosity of the Northumberland community. This year is no different.
