It’s a big weekend for Quinte West as the municipality joins STAGE 3 of reopening in Ontario.
Chris Angelo – Director of Public Works and Environmental Services tells MBC – a number of the city’s playgrounds will open Saturday, July 18th.
Angelo says it’s a cautious, phased opening of parks and playground facilities to ensure public safety. Physical distancing is required outdoors.
Washroom facilities and hand washing stations are open near all four of the playgrounds opening on Saturday.
