During COVID-19 The Beer Store remained opened for us and in return they asked that if you brought back any empty bottles you donated the return money back to Belleville General Hospital Foundation. The community rallied in an incredible way.
To date over $19,522 has been raised through your bottle returns to The Beer Store locations at:
113 Station St., Belleville
91 Front St. S., Belleville
46 Wellington St., Madoc
100 Forsythe St., Marmora
12334 Hwy. 41, Northbrook
1090 Midland Ave., Kingston
But we aren’t done yet! With the COVID-19 pandemic still a daily concern for hospital staff and frontline workers, The Beer Store has agreed to keep accepting bottle returns for BGH from now until Labour Day. So clean out the garage and basements and drop off your bottle returns in support of BGH.
“We recognize the tremendous efforts your organization is making to support your community during these extraordinary times,” said Robin Urie, Peterborough District Manager of Brewers Retail Inc. “At The Beer Store, we believe that we have a responsibility in our communities across the province to give back.”
BGHF Executive Director Steve Cook voiced his appreciation for the company’s efforts in continuing their support of the hospital.
“It’s great to see the employees at The Beer Store locations band together and select BGH as their choice to raise funds for. We’re extremely grateful for their donations.”
