Nine people are in custody after an Ontario Provincial Police led raid in a rural location in Kawartha Lakes.
15,300 cannabis plants were seized along with cannabis bud, vehicles, grow-op equipment like generators and industrial size dehumidifiers. Members of the Northumberland OPP detachment participated in the raid.
Police say the property featured a very structured outlaw growing site that was being operated outside of the Health Canada regulations.
Since the investigation is still in the early stages, police have not announced any charges.
