A Constable with the Cobourg Police Service has been charged following an investigation into allegations of misconduct following an incident that took place while the officer was on secondment at the Ontario Police College in June 2021.
The Constable was released from their contract at OPC, and CPS asked that the Toronto Police Service investigate the allegations.
As a result of the investigation, Constable David Periard was charged with two counts of discreditable conduct.
