The Comedy Bar on Bloor Street will host Evan Dubois as he tapes his very first Comedy Album.
The 22-year-old was raised in Northumberland and Prince Edward County and attended East Northumberland Secondary School.
He’s been featured at Yuk Yuks Comedy Clubs many times, he ran a Toronto Fringe Show this year and he hosts a weekly show called ‘The Banana Room’ at The Royal Comedy Theatre.
Evan told us that breaking into the business was tough going, but on the way to a gig in Wasaga Beach, a friend told him “stuff can happen at any time”.
Evan told us that, as you can imagine, he was a class clown and always enjoyed making people laugh, but he originally had different asperations.
Evan will headline two shows on August 13th at the Comedy Bar and they’ll be taped to produce his comedy album.
We asked Evan what people could expect at one of his shows.
The shows will be hosted by Tyler Morrison of Cottage Comedy Digital and besides Evan, they’ll include some of Canada’s best and upcoming comedians.
Tickets are just 15-dollars and you can get them online at: Evan Dubois: The Album | Comedy Bar
