Yesterday was Canadian Beer Day, so what better way to celebrate than raising a glass and help support those in need in Northumberland County.
We spoke with Dave Dines at Ganaraska Brewing Company who told us Beer Day falls conveniently into Octoberfest.
Ganaraska Brewing has partnered with The Thirsty Goose and Beamish House to support Fare Share Food Bank.
Canadian brewers directly employ 20-thousand Canadians and the sale of beer supports 149,000 jobs from the farmer that grows our barley, all the way to the server pouring your favourite pint.
