In-person programming is gearing up for January at the Trent Hills Public Library – Hastings Branch, there is a little something for all ages.
The winter session of the Baby and Me has returned to in-person at the Hastings branch and is currently full, but you can still add your name to the waiting list. This hour long session each week are for parents and caregivers with newborns to 12 months old infants. The focus is on pre-literacy skills, singing and of course parents also get a chance to social too.
January also sees the return of Hot Topics Book Club the last Friday of each month.
“This is an untraditional book club in the sense that we don’t all read the same book,” said Jenny Madden – Hastings Branch Coordinator. “Rather, we choose a theme and share the book we read that fits into the theme with the group. This generates great discussion.”
January’s theme is very appropriate – it’s “Re-Invention”. Are you currently reading a book that could fit into this theme? Why not check out the Hot Topics Books Club on Friday January 27th at 7:00 at the Hastings Branch of the Trent Hills library.
