Girls Incorporated as received a grant of almost $97 thousand dollars to help it prepare and launch a multi-year fundraising campaign in the Limestone, Algonquin, Lakeshore region.
The Ontario Trillium Foundation grant is helping Girls Incorporate rebuild its fundraising apparatus taken down by the pandemic.
Girls Incorporated wants to secure and expand a critical program for more than 8,000 self-identified girls in Frontenac, Lennox and Addington, Hastings, and Prince Edward Counties. The initiative aims to help these girls build live long skills, overcome obstacles and become self confident.
