Brighton’s Fire & Rescue service is updating it’s Community Risk Assessment and creating a Fire Master Plan.
The aim of the exercise is to guide operational improvements and ensure the optimization of services to the community for the next 10 years.
Consulting firm Emergency Management Group Incorporated has created a community survey to collect input from residents.
This Friday (April 28) is the deadline to complete the survey via this link: Brighton Public Survey (surveymonkey.com) or can be completed in person at our Municipal Buildings at 35 Alice Street or 67 Sharp Road.
In addition to responding to calls to extinguish a fire or other emergencies, Brighton Fire & Rescue provides fire safety education and conducts inspection to ensure compliance with the Ontario Fire Code.
In addition to full-time Administration staff, 45 paid volunteer firefighters respond to emergencies, offer public education and inspections upon request or complaint.
