The ‘Trenton Family Medical Clinic’ has officially opened on Dundas Street East in Quinte West.
On May 3rd, a ribbon-cutting ceremony was held featuring representatives from Docs by the Bay Physician Recruitment and Retention and Mayor Jim Harrison.
Dr. Stephen Evans, along with the City and Docs by the Bay paid special mention of Mr. Dipak Dhanani, the owner of the Remedy RX pharmacy co-located in the same building. Dhanani was instrumental in having the clinic constructed for Dr. Evans’, making a significant investment in our community. Dhanani also owns the IDA Pharmacy at the corner of North Front and Bell Blvd. in Belleville.
Dr. Evans also just officially opened his Brighton clinic. Both clinics will have three physicians (Dr. Stephan Evans, Dr. Getnet Asrat and Dr. Bushra Chaudry) rotating through on a weekly basis. In the near future, they will also have Saturday hours, making it more accessible for patients with busy schedules, while house calls will be reserved for the frail and elderly.
Officials do say the clinic is not currently accepting new patients.
