While many of us are still coming to grips with the unexpected death of a local 2-year-old girl near a daycare in Hamilton Township, there has been an unprecented outpouring of love and support.
More than 1200 people have donated to a GoFundMe page set-up to help out Clay and Claire Irwin, raising more than $113,000. The page has identified the victim, as their daughter Vienna.
According to organizer Erika Stapleton, donations will cover the cost of their daughter Vienna’s funeral and assist in anything they might need during these trying times.

Cobourg Mayor Lucas Cleveland issued a statement saying “I was heartbroken to learn about the tragic series of events that happened. What an unimaginable loss for the family, friends, and our community. Our hearts go out to everyone during this time of immense grief and sadness”.
Northumberland OPP are continuing their investigation into the situation.
