With the 36th season of Peterborough Musicfest set to open in a few weeks, concert goers will have a similar viewing experience to last year.
The Fred Anderson Stage has been removed in Del Crary Park.
General Manager Tracey Randall says she embraces the fresh coat of paint.
Randall says the location from last year is going unchanged but they are still looking at ways to enhance the experience for concert goers.
Randall says since the Fred Anderson Stage has been removed, the set-up will be similar to what was done last year.
Eventually a new stage with better lighting and sound systems will be erected but and Randall is excited for what that happens.
Musicfest kicks-off on July 1st with Natalie MacMaster and Donnell Leahy.
Peterborough Musicfest estimates that 135,000 people attended the concert series in 2019, bringing people from across the region to the shores of Little Lake and generating more than $4 million in economic activity.
