Brighton was well-represented at the 22nd annual Peterborough Dragon Boat Festival.
A team from the Brighton Dragon Boat Club took place on Saturday.
Festival Chair Michelle Thornton says putting together the event is a true team effort.
The Brighton Dragon Boat Club has been competing around the area since 2007.
Thornton says while they are still determining an official fundraising total, she can confirm they have passed the set out goal of $205,000. Proceeds will allow PRHC to invest in the equipment and technology that makes cancer care possible.
