When you’re a kid at school, nothing makes you more happy than knowing your playground is getting a makeover. The Brighton Kin Club is helping to make his dream a reality.
According to NorthumberlandNews.com, The club recently supported the Smithfield Public School with a cheque for $1,000.
Tamara Perron, one of the parents who supports the building of the playground, said developments are moving well. They’ve just levelled and laid sod over the junior soccer pitch, and they’ll be moving on to build a shade cover while improving the current sandbox.
The concept for the playground was finalized by a large group of supporters back in 2019. Supporters include: a group of parents, the former principal, and advocates from the school board.
