DJ spins the tunes to favorite dance songs from the 60s to current favorites. These dances are geared to all dance styles and the atmosphere is always inviting and relaxing. Brighton Legion, upstairs, first and third Friday of each month; $10 at the door. Munchies offered, as well as coffee, sweets and a fully stocked bar. All proceeds go to the legion and your host Rose Massey welcomes all newcomers so come check us out. Have care-free fun and socializing while supporting your local legion. Dances run 7 to 11 p.m. 

Hosted at Rotary Hall at the fairgrounds, this event offers attendees to learn more about moths. We often hear about designing our gardens for pollinators such as bees and butterflies, but what about the nighttime ones? Moths are mostly hidden by the night but they are a crucial component of our landscapes, including yards and gardens. Come along to the County Garden Club's first event of the year to learn about moths, their lifecycle, diversity and beauty, and their importance to our county. Free entry and refreshments provided.
