The Peterborough Petes kicked off their exhibition schedule with a sold out crowd of over 1,200 were in attendance at the Jack Burger Sports Complex yesterday AFTERNOON.
Head coach of the Petes Rob Wilson told us about the young team they’ve got.
The Petes began their exhibition series with a loss to rival Oshawa Generals at 5-3. The Generals ultimately pushed ahead of the Petes in the second period to cement a victory.
Coach Wilson says overall he’s happy with the performance.
The game was the first of three Petes preseason home games to be held at local arenas with the other two taking place in Norwood and Millbrook on September 23, and 24.
Wilson says he was overall happy with the team’s structure, but improvements can still be made.
