Senior Fire Prevention Officer Greg King, a member of the Quinte West FireFit team, returned triumphant from the Firefighter Challenge World Championships in Florida.
Amidst 350 athletes from 17 countries, he secured a gold in the Team Relay (Over 50) and a bronze in the Tandem Relay (Over 55), while finishing fourth in the Individual (Over 55) category.
This remarkable victory adds to Quinte West’s legacy of four World Championship wins.
The team has performed exceptionally this season, securing 15 medals across six events.
