
Hydro One says Northumberland will be affected by some planned blackouts this Sunday.
Lakefront Utilities Inc. have already told Colborne residents that they will be without power on the 22nd. Other areas include Brookside and Grafton. Hydro One says over 2,000 customers will be affected.
Spokesperson Bianca Teixeira says anybody who’s going to be affect should have received notice.
Brighton is also planned for upgrades on Sunday, October 29 from 5 a.m. to 9 a.m.
Residents can expect the blackout from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. This is because Hydro One needs to install new hydro equipment.
Teixeira says Hydro One understands it’s inconvenient.
