This year, Habitat has set the target high with an ambitious goal of $25,000 dollars in just 25 days, and to sweeten the pot, an anonymous donor has committed to matching contributions up to $25,000.
The campaign aligns with National Housing Day, a dedicated effort to shed light on the urgent need for affordable housing and eliminate homelessness.
Habitat Northumberland is currently engaged in its most substantial project yet, a 7-unit net-zero townhome development in Baltimore.
Additionally, they’ve broken ground on a single detached unit in Cobourg.
Several sponsors, like Part Time CFO Services, Spoolon, Ganaraska Financial, Stadtke Plumbing and Heating, ACME Electric, Robyn Mumford Real Estate, Terry & Phyllis White, and Lauria Autogroup, have already shown their commitment to this cause.
The campaign will continue until November 21st.
