The Brighton Christmas Hamper Program is once again reaching out to the community, urging residents to generously support neighbors in need during the holiday season.
Covering a wide area from Wooler to Carrying Place, and Salem to Smithfield, the program delivers hampers filled with food, clothing, toys, and games to local families.
Your contribution supports dedicated volunteers from churches, the Brighton Food Bank, Lions and Rotary Clubs, the Royal Canadian Legion, businesses, and individuals, continuing a 50+ year tradition.
All monetary donations go towards purchasing fresh produce and a turkey for each family, while canned goods and new, unwrapped toys are also appreciated.
