More than $6-million in crime proceeds is being invested back in communities to prevent crime
Solicitor General Michael Kerzner says the government is using cash and proceeds seized from criminals to prevent crime and protect the communities.
On the West side of Northumberland, Port Hope Police Chief Tim Farquharson says they will use the $175-thousand grant to educate students, teachers and parents about internet safety.
Across the province the funds will be used to support 22 other projects by law enforcement agencies and community partners.
