It was reported that a woman allegedly pulled a victim into a room and assaulted them, said police, adding a bystander intervened.
The victim sustained minor injuries, reported police.
Police allege the suspect also had two stolen cellphones.
As a result of an investigation, police said a 44-year-old Ottawa woman was arrested and charged with assault, forcible confinement, theft under $5,000, and possession of stolen property obtained by crime under $5,000.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
