A new outpatient dermatology clinic is set to transform healthcare services at Campbellford Memorial Hospital (CMH).
The clinic, set to be operated by Dr. Ashley O’Toole, a distinguished Peterborough dermatologist trained by the Royal College, promises to bring a new level of expertise to the community.
Dr. O’Toole, whose credentials include a medical degree from McMaster University and residency in dermatology at the University of Ottawa, is well-versed in a variety of dermatological conditions. She boasts an impressive resume, with over 25 peer-reviewed publications and involvement in numerous clinical trials focused on conditions ranging from acne to vitiligo.
Scheduled to run on the first Friday of every month, the clinic will offer comprehensive care for a wide range of dermatological concerns, including acne, rosacea, psoriasis, eczema, and suspected skin cancers.
CMH encourages community members in need of dermatological care to take advantage of this new resource by speaking with their healthcare providers and seeking referrals.
