This year’s Invisible Ribbon Gala in Trenton marks a big milestone for the Royal Canadian Air Force (RCAF), says the Trenton Military Family Resource Centre (MFRC.)
April 1 will officially mark 100 years for the RCAF, but on May 11 they’ll celebrate during the gala.
During the 17th annual Invisible Ribbon Gala: Beyond the Wings event, MFRC will be raising funds for the organization’s annual campaign.
This has previously included funding for: Emergency housing for families in distress, mental health support, respite care, virtual access to medical practitioners, and more.
To accomplish she goals, the Trenton MFRC must fundraise “as we continue to strive for long-term, sustainable and responsive solutions to meet the needs of our community.”
“We could not do this without your support, and we look forward to showing our military families that the Bay of Quinte region is more than just Canada’s home of air mobility – it’s also the place we call home.”
The Invisible Ribbon Gala will feature a three-course culinary experience, silent and live auctions, raffles and more, said organizers. All proceeds will go towards supporting military families within the Bay of Quinte region.
Tickets are on sale now.
