Work in the Cedar Street Brighton area starting this week will lead to a partial road closure.
Work was previously set to start last week – March 25 to 29 – but has since been rescheduled for this week.
“Cedar Street will now be reduced to a single lane between April 2 and 5,” said the municipality, in an update.
The closure will be from Forest Drive to Tall Pines Drive. It’s necessary to allow crews to build sidewalks as part of the Butler Creek development, said the municipality.
“If you use this road regularly, please be advised of potential delays and plan accordingly. Thank you for your co-operation and understanding,” the municipality told residents.
