At 5:00 a.m. on April 3, the OPP launched a raid on a Trenton residence in connection with a drug trafficking investigation.
Nine individuals were arrested, and authorities confiscated cash, ammunition, plus suspected cocaine, fentanyl, and methamphetamine.

Tanya COOPER, 45 years old and Dana PARKER, 40 years old from Quinte West were charged with:

Joseph VELEKE, 33 years old from Quinte West was charged with:

John CLARKE, 51 years old from Quinte West was charged with:

Brenda BANKS, 36 years old from Quinte West was charged with:

Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
John MCDADE, 35 years old from Quinte West was charged with:
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Cocaine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Methamphetamine
Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of Trafficking – Opioid (other than heroin)
Fail to Comply with Probation Order
Possession of Firearm or Ammunition contrary to Prohibition Order
Brian CALLADINE, Tanya COOPER, Olivia KARGUS and Dana PARKER were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Belleville on a future court date. The other five accused were held for a bail hearing.
