Northumberland County Forest trails have been temporarily closed due to recent heavy snowfall, says the county.
The trails will remain closed until further notice due to safety concerns, said the county.
“Following yesterday’s winter storm, trails have been obstructed with debris and falling trees, creating safety concerns,” said Northumberland County, on Thursday, April 4.
The temporary closures are necessary while staff work to clear debris as quickly as possible. County forest staff will provide an update once trails can safely be reopened, added staff.
