The beginning of 2024 turned grim for Quinte West with the discovery of Kiean Stoddard’s lifeless body in a local motel.
Now, five individuals, including Morgan Belyea, Steven Courneyea, Harold Russell, Aaron Ryan, and Khadijah Courneyea, face First Degree Murder charges.
Some also face charges of Conspiracy to Commit Murder and Robbery with Weapon.
The investigation continues under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner for Ontario and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
