An investigation is continuing after a house fire in the Township of Hamilton on Harwood Road.
According to initial OPP reports, there were “no occupants” – meaning no one was inside the home – and there were no injuries.
Officials have also noted the fire is not being treated as suspicious.
Emergency crews, including the Township of Hamilton Fire Department and Northumberland OPP, responded to reports of a structure fire during the early morning hours Wednesday, April 17, 2024.
Police had shut down a portion of the road as crews tackled the fire. The road reopened and closure signs were lifted mid-morning.
