As the 37th season of Peterborough Musicfest looms ever closer, organizers of the summer festival have made yet another concert announcement, with more acts to be announced in early May.
Juno Award-nominated rap rockers ‘Down With Webster’ will perform at Del Crary Park on July 31st. It’s the second act of the upcoming season announced, with alt-rock band Metric also set to perform on July 17th.
Musicfest General Manager Tracey Randall says it’s high time that Down With Webster returns to Peterborough, noting the band’s last appearance in the city was in 2013 at the Memorial Centre.
Down With Webster and Metric, says Randall, fit the alternative music genre that it wants to showcase on its stage this summer.
Randall says most of the summer lineup is tentatively scheduled to be announced May 14th at the Silver Bean in Millennium Park.
