Brighton is gearing up to tackle its 2024 roads resurfacing program – and you can learn more about upcoming work at a public meeting.
The Municipality of Brighton is hosting a public information centre (PIC) meeting to delve into area roads getting new surfaces and drainage improvements through its 2024 surface treatment program next Wednesday.
The meeting will be hosted at Owen Gibb Community Centre at the King Edward Park Arena (75 Elizabeth St.) Wednesday, May 22 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Staff say residents can pop in to discuss projects and ask questions about this year’s projects.
While there will be no formal presentation, municipal staff say they will be on hand to explain the scope of work, timelines, what to expect during construction, and to answer residents’ questions.
Currently, the tentative project timeline includes work set in May through to July. In July, is when the surface treatment applications are to be completed by Miller Paving.
