You can help celebrate ENSS grads as the high school’s prom parade tradition returns to downtown Brighton this Friday.
East Northumberland Secondary School (ENSS) will host its annual prom parade starting at 4 p.m. Friday, May 24, departing from the Fellowship Christian Reformed Church at 204 Main St.
The parade will then light up Main Street travelling through downtown before turning onto Dundas and ending at ENSS.
“Residents are encouraged to safely line the route and wave as graduates and their guests make their way to the high school,” said the municipality, in a recent advisory. “For the best viewing, stick to the south side of Main and Dundas Streets.”
Motorists and residents are being asked to exercise caution during the parade, which is anticipated to last about an hour to an hour-and-a-half.
The municipality has said all roads will remain open except for Terry Fox Drive, which will be closed at Elizabeth Street.
“Delays are expected, please plan your routes accordingly.”
