A portion of Brighton’s Main Street will be down to one lane intermittently due to road work.
The Municipality of Brighton advised residents of the lane reduction on Main Street – from about 350 metres east of Huff Road to Ontario Street – in a recent public notice.
“This closure will allow for surface treatment to be completed following the installation of a new water main,” reads the notice.
It’s currently anticipated the intermittent lane reduction will be ongoing until next Friday, June 28 at 7 pm.
“Thank you to all for their ongoing patience as we work to complete this project,” said the municipality.
