Northumberland County will host the world’s top disc golfers from September 13th to 15th for the inaugural Innova Rip tournament at Haute Goat Disc Golf. Over 90 professional athletes and 60 amateur players will compete in what is Canada’s premier disc golf event of 2024. The tournament, sponsored by Innova, will feature three rounds of competitive play and a variety of engaging activities.
Tournament Director Darrell Bankes tells us more about the sport.
Fans will have the chance to watch disc golf stars like Isaac Robinson, the reigning world champion, and Gannon Buhr, the current world number one. Five-time women’s world champion Paige Pierce will also be in attendance, along with veterans like Jeremy Koling and Philo Brathwaite.

“We’re excited to showcase some incredible talent while offering visitors a taste of Canadian hospitality,” says Tournament Director Darrell Bankes.

The three day tournament will feature world champion Iaasc Robinson and tickets are available for single days at $20 or for the entire weekend at $40 and includes a free pass to play the course at a later date.
In addition to the main competition, the event will offer clinics with top players, fun challenges, and a glow-in-the-dark round.
