Murdoch Mysteries is returning to Cobourg for the filming of Season 18, with production scheduled from September 10 to 12, 2024.
Filming will occur at several key locations, including Victoria Hall, King Street West, and Grandma’s Kitchen. On Wednesday, September 11, and Thursday, September 12, filming will take place between 7:30 a.m. and 10:00 p.m.
The production will require the use of multiple parking lots, such as the Second Street, Albert Street, and Marina Parking Lots, from September 10 through September 12. Additionally, Cobourg Police will oversee intermittent traffic stoppages on streets like King Street West, Second Street, and Third Street to ensure the safety of both residents and the film crew. The audible crosswalk at King and Third Streets will also be temporarily deactivated, with a paid-duty officer managing safe crossings.
