
The Provincial Junior Hockey League (PJHL), which includes the Port Hope Panthers, Frankford Huskies, Picton Pirates, Napanee Raiders, and the Trent Hills Thunder, has announced a new partnership with NBC Sports Next and SportsEngine Play, making SportsEngine Play the official video and streaming platform for the league. This partnership will cover all 63 PJHL franchises and stream every regular season game, playoff match, and special event.
Through this collaboration, SportsEngine Play will showcase all 42 regular-season PJHL games, playoffs, and special events, expanding the league’s exposure across North America. The platform’s advanced video technology will offer a high-quality viewing experience for players, families, and fans, featuring live streams, on-demand videos, highlight reels, and more.
NBC Sports Next will equip all PJHL arenas with fixed cameras featuring intelligent technology that captures multiple angles during games and integrates seamlessly with SportsEngine Play. Fans can watch every game through a SportsEngine Play subscription, available online or via the app.
In addition to live and on-demand streaming, the SportsEngine Play All Access subscription provides young athletes and their families with a wide range of resources, including instructional videos on rules, training, mental health, fitness, and more.
The 2024/2025 PJHL season kicks off on Saturday for the Frankford Huskies when they’ll be hosting the the Amherstview Jets at the Frankford Arena.
