Winter parking restrictions are back in effect in Brighton – and not complying could cost you.
The change was effective Nov. 1, with restrictions to remain in place until April 1 from midnight to 7 a.m.
This means parking on any road, street or shoulders between those times is prohibited, the municipality is reminding residents.
Overnight parking is also not permitted in municipal parking lots from 10 p.m. to 6 a.m. all year.
Fines for vehicles parking on the road are $75, plus an additional $35 for interfering with street-clearing operations, added municipal officials.
Residents with questions about winter parking restrictions can contact bylaw enforcement at bylawenforcement@brighton.ca.
