The much-loved Family Christmas at Spry Family Christmas Tree Farm returns for its final year on Saturday, December 7.
From 10 a.m. to 4 p.m., the Cobourg farm will welcome families to pick out their perfect Christmas tree while supporting a meaningful cause. All proceeds from the event will be donated to the Northumberland Hills Hospital Foundation’s Light Up a Life campaign, which will fund the purchase of hematology analyzers for the hospital laboratory.
Trees, excluding firs, are priced at $80, while firs cost $120. The farm, located at 8329 Danforth Road East, will also feature festive activities, including free chili, hot chocolate, and a bonfire. Santa and Mrs. Claus will make an appearance for photos, adding to the holiday cheer.
“This event has become a cherished tradition for local families,” said Megan Fluxgold, Community Engagement Specialist with the NHH Foundation. “Over the past decade, the Spry family has raised more than $174,000, and we’re so grateful for their incredible support.”
The 2024 event is sponsored by Baker Tilly, Wharram Tree Service, Craft Food House, Ley Wealth Management, Neil Ganson – RBC Wealth Management and Davey Tree Service.
Even those not purchasing trees are invited to enjoy the festivities with a donation.
