Winter snow removal operations are continuing in Brighton, says the municipality.
Crews will be tackling the downtown and Elizabeth Street areas starting Thursday, Feb. 20 at 2 a.m. through to Friday, Feb. 21.
To help accommodate the work, staff are asking all vehicles to be removed from Main Street before midnight Wednesday, Feb. 19. Work will continue until completed, say staff, adding that there will be noise from equipment operation.
For anyone out driving in the area during the work, they’re asked to remain cautious of equipment and personnel in the area.
“We thank residents for their co-operation and understanding during this winter operation,” say staff.
Staff also say crews will continue to remove excess snow from cul-de-sacs on an as needed basis.
