Northumberland OPP say a man wanted in connection with a child pornography investigation has been arrested.
Back on Jan. 28, 2025, police said they received information that a minor had been communicating with an adult and that explicit communications had allegedly been exchanged.
Police said the Northumberland OPP crime unit was engaged to help with the investigation, and on Feb. 21, officers attended a Wasaga Beach address and executed an arrest.
As a result of the investigation, police said Joshua Noble-Murray, 26, of Wasaga Beach, was charged with make sexually explicit material available to a person under 14 years of age, agreement to commit a sexual offence against a person under 14 years of age, luring a person under 14 years of age by means of telecommunication, possession of child pornography, and indecent exposure to a person under 16 years of age.
None of these charges have been proven in court. The accused was held for bail in Cobourg court, reported OPP.
No other details were released by police.
