On February 26, 2025, at approximately 12:10 p.m., OPP say they responded to a report of a student making threats and in possession of weapons at the school. As a precaution, the school was placed on lockdown while officers secured the scene.
Police took a 15-year-old male from Havelock into custody without incident. No injuries were reported, and officers confirmed there is no ongoing threat to public safety. The Northumberland OPP Crime Unit is assisting with the investigation.
