The City of Quinte West is asking residents to provide feedback on how the city manages its public infrastructure, including roads, parks and recreational facilities.
Through the Strong City, Strong Assets survey, residents can share their thoughts on how the city should balance costs with quality when maintaining, repairing and replacing city-owned assets.
“We’re inviting residents to tell us how they want the city to balance costs with quality when it comes to maintaining everything the city owns, from our roads to heavy equipment, arenas, parks and playgrounds,” said Riley Wolters, manager of data and asset management with the City of Quinte West. “Understanding the community’s priorities is important to ensuring the city’s asset management plan meets the needs of Quinte West residents and the community.”
Feedback collected from the survey will help shape the city’s updated asset management plan, which is required under Ontario’s O. Reg. 588/17 regulations. The updated plan must be finalized by July 1, 2025.
The online survey is available online until March 31.
