A Trent Hills resident is facing charges after a raid in Campbellford, say Northumberland OPP.
On Tuesday, March 18, 2025, at about 10 a.m., police said members of the Northumberland-Peterborough community street crime unit executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act warrant at a Maple Street address in Campbellford.
Investigators allege that a small quantity of cocaine, along with cash and gift cards believed to be the proceeds of crime, were seized.
As a result of the investigation, police said a 47-year-old from the Municipality of Trent Hills was charged with possession of a schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – cocaine, and possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime under $5,000.
None of these charges have been proven in court.
The accused will appear before the courts in Cobourg at a future date, reported OPP.
No other details were released by police.
