East Northumberland Secondary School (ENSS) students plan to make a splash with a new production of “the Little Mermaid” in Brighton.
Known for their quality musicals, the school team is hard at work breathing new life into the Disney classic for the stage.
Here’s what you need to know:
Theatre dates include May 1, 2, 3, 8, 9 and 10, with the play starting at 7 p.m. most days. For a Saturday matinee on May 3, showtime is 2 p.m.
Tickets are $20 for adults and $10 for kids (12 and younger.)

The Shoe Store has tickets – but cash only – available Monday to Saturday 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
In Trenton, Bruinix Jewellers has tickets – again, cash only – available Monday to Friday 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., and on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Tickets can also be purchased at the main office at ENSS Monday to Friday 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. and 1 to 3 p.m. Cash or debit is accepted.
Tickets will also be available at the door and on sale one hour before showtimes. Cash or debit will be accepted.
For KPR families only, tickets can be purchased online.
Organizers say it’s a show you won’t want to miss.
