Police in Kingston have confirmed seven people died in Wednesday’s plane crash in a wooded area of the city, west of Bayridge Drive. Investigators say two of the deceased are children. There
were no survivors.
The wreckage was located last night after the plane was reported missing late in the afternoon. The Transportation Safety Board says the Piper aircraft had flown out of Buttonville Airport in the
Toronto area.
So far investigators haven’t offered any information on what caused the plane to crash.
