Oldies 100.9 news presents the Vanderlaan Building Excellent Educators Day, profiling outstanding leaders in our community.
It’s an exclusive look into the lives’ of some of Northumberland’s best and brightest educators, including Liz Rennie, a drama teacher at Holy Trinity Catholic Secondary School.
After studying at Trent University, Rennie has been a teacher for the past two decades, but that’s not where it started.
Before she went back to school, she worked for several years at Second City in Toronto, which became experience to enrich the lives of students.
The secondary school teacher is still involved in theatre with the Northumberland Players and was recently in a play written and directed by Alyssa Warmland.
